Bentleigh pools,
for your garden.

Enchanted Pools designs and builds custom concrete and fibreglass pools for Bentleigh homes. Start with a completed local pool and spa, then explore the decisions that connect the water, garden and house.
The garden, considered as a whole
Keep the garden. Make room for the water.

Water within the garden
Our Garden Retreat project began with a home and established planting the owners already loved. The 7 × 4m concrete pool and 2 × 1.8m integrated spa were designed around that setting, with pale stone surrounds, a ceramic pool interior and finer glass mosaics in the spa. Those dimensions describe the waterline; the structure, fencing and paths need room as well.

A shared drawing
Enchanted Pools and DANOZ Landscaping worked from the initial 3D design to coordinate the finished backyard. That is a useful starting point for a Bentleigh project: decide how the pool relates to the deck, where people will sit, what planting should stay and how the landscape works will be sequenced. The pool footprint is only one part of that drawing.

The details that bring it together
Concrete allows the pool and spa to be drawn together around the brief. A fibreglass option can also be considered where an available shell suits the space and delivery access. In either case, share the whole site plan early, including trees, existing structures and planned renovation work, so the pool can be assessed as part of the home.

Keep tree protection in the first drawing
Glen Eira may require a permit for pruning, removal or works within a tree protection zone. If excavation or access passes near a tree you want to retain, check the applicable controls before fixing the pool position.

Council lists swimming pools, spas and safety barriers among building works that may need a permit. A planning permit can be a separate requirement. Confirm both against the address and proposed works with the council and appointed building surveyor.

Garden Retreat uses Paramount in-floor cleaning, Halo automation, gas heating and roof-mounted solar. Your equipment selection should follow how you will use the pool and spa, with space for servicing and a practical route for pipework.
Allow for the finished garden
Include paving, pool barriers, drainage, planting and the route from the house in the initial brief. Agree who is delivering each part and how the pool contractor and landscaper will coordinate levels and timing.

Bentleigh pool questions
Have you built a pool in Bentleigh?
Yes. Garden Retreat is a completed Enchanted Pools concrete pool and integrated spa in Bentleigh. The project card shows the actual home, garden, finishes and equipment, including the collaboration with DANOZ Landscaping.
Can you design a pool and spa together?
Yes. Garden Retreat combines a 7 × 4m pool with a 2 × 1.8m spa at the waterline. A new design starts with your available space, preferred seating and swimming area, heating expectations and budget. The finished footprint will be larger than the water dimensions.
Can we retain our existing garden?
That can be part of the brief. Show us the trees and planting you want to retain, alongside access photos and a site plan. The pool location, construction access and landscape work need to be considered together, including any tree protection requirements.
Does self-cleaning mean no maintenance?
No. The Paramount in-floor system fitted to Garden Retreat supports less hands-on cleaning. Water testing, equipment checks and routine care still matter. The cleaning approach for your pool should be selected alongside the design and surrounding garden.
What should I send for a Bentleigh pool quote?
Send the property address, a site plan if you have one, photos of the backyard and access, and your pool or spa ideas. Include planned landscaping or renovation work and an indicative budget so the first discussion considers the whole project.
